**About the Role**
The Pharmacy Operations Associate plays a hybrid role, combining pharmacy tech tasks with logistics duties. You will handle prescription packaging, patient shipments, and support delivery couriers while assisting with prescription data entry and issue resolution.
- Efficiently process prescriptions, ensuring compliance with state regulations and prescription accuracy.
- Utilize various computer systems for prescription entry, label production, and safe product packaging.
- Perform quality assurance, outreach for contraindications, and address third-party rejections.
- Handle manual prescription orders, from verification to packaging, for timely delivery.
- Assist logistics team by addressing courier calls, monitoring order fulfillment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and issue resolution.
**Requirements**:
- You have a High School Diploma / GED and have 1+ years of prior experience in counting/packing medications
- You must be a registered technician within the State of employment
- You are familiar with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand and generic names of medications)
- Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds. Moving, lifting, or carrying boxes and stand for long periods of time
- You are available to work within operating hours: Los Angeles Pharmacy Hours: 8:30AM - 6PM PT, Sat & Sun: 10AM - 6PM PT
