Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of patients and gain valuable experience in a medical setting.

**Duties**:

- Perform vital signs assessments, including measuring blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Provide exceptional patient service by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and ensuring their comfort during their visit
- Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and examinations
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing insurance information
- Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient information and communicate with other healthcare professionals
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification is preferred but not required
- CPR certification is a plus

- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
