A/v Consultant

Anderson Computing & Information Services (ACIS) provides information and technology services to the Anderson School of Management. Under mínimal supervision of the Director, Academic Technology, and working within the Anderson A/V Team, the A/V Consultant is responsible for the support and operation of all media and A/V-based technology at The Anderson School, supporting classes, events, and special programs. Working in conjunction with multiple Anderson units, the incumbent will ensure the necessary technology, equipment, and on-site support for all on-campus classes and events as well as some off-campus events such as Board of Visitors meetings, the Dean's Distinguished Speaker Series, the Wooden Awards, TED, and private Salon dinners with the Dean.**Salary & Compensation**

**Qualifications**
- IT Minimum of five years of professional experience in designing, installing, integrating, and supporting complex Audio/Visual systems, including but not limited to microphone systems, still and video. (required)
- A/V Advanced knowledge in A/V products and services from leading manufacturers such as AMX, Crestron, Extron, and etc. Demonstrated experience in designing and programming touch panel. (required)
- Scheduling Highly skilled in prioritizing, scheduling, and coordinating time-sensitive activities with multiple groups to ensure projects and tasks are completed on-time and within budget. (required)
- Customer Service Strong customer service orientation and possess the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relations with students, faculty, staff, guests, facility workers, vendors, and suppliers. (required)
- Physical Ability to stand, climb, bend, stoop as well as lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds and to perform job-related tasks at considerable heights. (required)
- Skilled in building and maintaining good working relationships with a diverse group of partners, including vendors, event organizers, staff, faculty, guests, facility workers, and contractors. Familiar with maintaining and improving professional video production system and process. (required)
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective on-site A/V support and leadership at high level events. (required)
- Demonstrated skill at negotiating and exchanging ideas and information to formulate and implement procedures, programs and goals. Ability to train other technicians, student workers, staff and faculty to operate A/V equipment on their own. (required)
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing A/V asset management system, such as AMX RMS. Working knowledge in A/V equipment programming and system integration using tool such as AMX's RPM. (required)
- Advanced knowledge in installation, configuration, and support of Panopto system in both classroom and event settings. (required)
- Advanced knowledge in configuration, setup, and support of video conferencing system, including both hardware and software based codecs solutions, such as Polycom HDX and Zoom. (required)
- Working knowledge of event, safety, and facilities related regulations, and university policies and procedures. (required)
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining a wide variety of A/V equipment in classrooms, auditorium, and professional production studio. Ability in troubleshooting and optimizing sound, lighting, and video quality for both live events and recorded productions. (required)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in standard English, both written and verbally, to share information with co-workers and users and to explain complex details in a clear and concise manner. (required)
- Possess and maintain A/V industry and/or OEM certifications. (required)
- Familiar with media asset management and storage in both on premise and cloud-based environments. Familiar with configuring and troubleshooting real-time translation audio services. Working knowledge of Apple OS and Microsoft Windows environments. (required)
- Ability to work long shifts, including evenings, weekends sometimes under difficult or stressful conditions. (required)

**Schedule**
Standard Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
