The chief job function of a Pool Attendant is to provide top of the line customer service while ensuring all facility rules and regulations are followed. Pool Attendants safeguard the swimming pool patrons and work as part of a larger safety team composed of other attendants, pool managers, supervisors, health inspectors and HOA’s to prevent these accidents and injuries. As a pool attendant you work by yourself and are responsible for monitoring all pool activities and maintaining a safe environment. You work outside in the elements and need to be able to handle the heat. In order to maintain the safety of the facility the Attendant must do the following:
**Attendants are responsible for**:

- Welcoming guests and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Supervising swimming activities and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Implementing safety protocols as set out by the HOA's Pool guidelines.
- Monitoring the activity of guests and ensuring their safety.
- Reporting any damages or incidences to the supervisor.
- Setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture.
- Ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.
- Administering first aid in the event of injury, and administering CPR if necessary.
- Cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment.
- Making sure pool chemicals are in range.

**Requirements**:

- Must be CPR certified, recommended AED and First Aid.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Consistent professional appearance and pleasant demeanor.
- Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and after hours.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your customer service skills while enjoying the sunshine by the pool.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
