The Assistant Director of Maintenance is responsible for:
To assist and work under the direction of the Facilities Director to provide a safe and clean trouble free living environment for residents, staff and visitors.

To assist in maintaining HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical equipment in efficient operations and the principals of good engineering practices. To decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of Cadbury property.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist and work under the direction of the Facilities Director
- Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Maintenance Department in its policies and procedures
- Regular inspections of the facility for safety and appearance
- Assist in scheduling & ensuring completion of all maintenance & repairs
- Oversee maintenance repairs and ensure contracted services are completed in a timely manner
- Must be able to assist in maintaining HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems/equipment
- Assist in maintaining records of repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections
- Be part of the Maintenance on call rotation

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2 years experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to be personable with residents, staff and visitors
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused in stressful situations
- Solid leadership and supervision skills
- Previous Healthcare Experience required
