_Career Launch Pad_ is a program designed to help California high school and community college students with disabilities identify their career interests, develop work-ready skills, and participate in work experience with local employers.

A partnership between the California Department of Rehabilitation (CDOR) and the Institute for Workplace Skills and Innovation America (IWSIA), the program represents a new approach to creating long-term employment opportunities for Californians with a disability.

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Support Manager to provide case management services to consumers seeking guidance on career paths and personal career interests. You will also provide practical hands on training, coaching and facilitate paid work experience opportunities for our consumers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide job exploration counseling to consumers seeking guidance on career paths and personal career interests.
- Design and deliver individualized services, including researching in-demand jobs, teaching about wages and career pathways, and setting up worksite tours.
- Design, develop, and deliver online and in-person workplace readiness classes.
- Maintain accurate records of consumer progress and program outcomes, and use this data to develop strategies for program improvement.
- Create and implement job plans with consumers to support clear pathways to the workforce through job exploration counseling.
- Build relationships with local employers and community organizations and arrange work experience.
- Provide mentoring to the consumers as they undertake their work experience.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in counseling, career development, or related field.
- Proven links to industry
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.
- Experience working as a career coach or in a related field.
- Experience with job exploration counseling is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
