**SUMMARY**:
A courier delivers messages, documents, packages and other items between offices or departments within the Bank. They must load and unload goods and sort goods based on where they need to be delivered. A courier will collect, seal and stamp outgoing mail, open, sort and distribute incoming mail.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor and/or Trustco Bank’s Board of Directors.
- Monitors and ensures the safe delivery of mail and supplies.
- Interacts and communicates with a variety of employees.
- Enters, transcribes, records and properly stores and maintains data regarding the internal mail delivery system.
- Processes information in the form of supply orders.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to time sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work well independently and in groups.

**PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- None.

**POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS**:
This is a part-time position. Hours vary Monday - Friday based on assigned route. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

**TRAVEL**:
Majority (90%) of working hours are spent traveling to and delivering to locations throughout the northeastern branch network. Company vehicle provided. Valid and clean driver’s license required.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingual skills a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, including but not limited to company policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
