**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the coordination and facilitation of the movement of cargo by verifying project requirements, carrier selection, and documentation of movement.

**KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Leads logistics team, including coordinators and drivers to meet the required daily activities.
- Verifies project scope and confirms project requirements.
- Develops transportation and packing pricing for project proposals, negotiates pricing with suppliers.
- Coordinates with packing vendors to ensure proper packing specifications are provided to transportation carriers.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining project budgets. To communicate to Project Management regularly on project performance
- Oversees TAS truck fleet day-to-day operations to insure maximum utilization of assets.
- Maintain and publish departmental KPIs.
- Manages billing and payable standard operating procedures based on payment terms.
- Participates in continuous improvement training and training others.
- Arranges load out/delivery sequence of project modules.
- Creates and uploads necessary paperwork, i.e., BOL, PL, CI
- Contracts and supervises packing efforts.
- Investigates and resolves logistics issues.
- Works closely with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Collaborates with legal department and logistics manager to update carrier packets during vendor onboarding process.
- Organizes and uploads all project documentation to shared drive.
- Manages carrier load tenders in TMS.
- Processes E-Requester orders for project purchase orders
- Maintains and receives purchase orders in MRP.
- Verifies carrier invoices and addresses discrepancies.
- Oversees coordinator activities for ship loose orders, gathering and packing.
- Facilitates receipt and verifies condition of project unit modules and ship loose at site.
- Other duties as assigned by TAS.
- Support on 3rd party warehouse storage needs for Raw Materials and Finished goods.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, ensuring reliable and cost-effective partnerships.
- Conducts regular performance reviews and assessments of the logistics team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing training programs to enhance overall efficiency.
- Communicate performance expectations and goals clearly to vendors.
- Schedule regular assessment meetings and analyze monthly vendor performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans based on assessment findings to address any performance gaps during quarterly business reviews.
- Analyzes routes, shipment mix and load combinations to enhance TAS driver fleet efficiency.
- Acts as a liaison between the logistics team and other departmental teams, leveraging innovative solutions to reduce manual errors.
- Determine packaging needs per project and negotiate rates to reduce cost overruns.
- Supports Logistics Manager with data analytics tools to assess and optimize carrier performance, providing actionable insights for cost saving opportunities.

**EDUCATION & TRAINING**:

- 5+ years of demonstrated international, domestic, and oversized cargo movement.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Knowledgeable of USDOT requirements
- Incoterms proficiency
- Previous experience working in a industrial manufacturing setting
- Able to walk/stand in steel toed boots for long distances/ periods of time.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Read and speak English fluently.
- Travel 10-20%

**PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS**:

- TMS and ERP/Infor LN a plus
