**Summary**:
Primary corporate IT liaison to the global finance team responsible for financial software roadmap and deployment. Will be leading efforts to develop functional specifications and technical requirements, facilitating alignment on phasing and priorities. Responsible for key financial IT systems including selection, design, development, modification, debug, deployment and post implementation support to stakeholders. Drives efficiency with an automation first mindset. Ensures the highest priority in data integrity and data standardization. This role is accountable for thorough understanding of financial processes and ownership of the IT systems involved in those processes. This role can be in Phoenix/Tempe AZ or Rochester/Winona MN.

**Education / Experience**
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years experience in a similar type role.
- Experience with database design, data governance, and extract, transform, and load (ETL).
- Prefer working knowledge of BAAN, InforLN, Infor Cloudsuite.
- Experience as an administrator for a financial package (prefer Infor dEPM).
- Experience creating reports and dashboards (prefer PowerBI and SSRS).
- Experience with one or more programming languages (SQL, Python, R).

**Responsibilities:
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Oversee financial software implementation projects from beginning to completion.
- Management and stewardship of financial data in the IT systems.
- Integration of financial systems to enable data collection, retrieval, and analysis to include writing reports or creating dashboards.
- Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems and support and/or leads these projects.
- Effectively work with both internal and external IT resources.
- Develop an understanding of current system capabilities and identify solutions to improve and streamline processes to meet changing demands of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) related to financial software projects.
- Keep apprised of new technology relevant to Benchmark financial systems and industry standards.
- Completeness and accuracy testing and validation of financial systems to support external and internal audit inquiries.
- Provide systems support and training for technical and non-technical users.
- Provide leadership to cross-functional linked teams in addressing financial or systems issues.
- Configure system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; creates specifications & design details for systems to meet business requirements.
- Coordinates system upgrade activity and assists in modifying and maintaining software and reports.
- Responsible for performing routing support through the ticketing system and liaising with the software vendor when required to resolve problems.
- Establish and document processes to support all areas of responsibility.
- User administration of key financial software products.
- Able to travel 25% domestically and internationally.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Possesses knowledge of core financial processes including cost accounting, financial accounting, financial consolidations, AR and AP. Experience with FP&A reporting and analysis.
- Experience working in an integrated financial system in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with implementing financial software across multiple facilities.
- Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail.
- Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism.
- Superior analytical, problem solving and modeling skills which include the ability to collect, manipulate, and synthesize large quantities of operational data.
- Evidence of IT administration and hands-on implementation experience with financial software packages.
- Familiar with SOX requirements, IT General Controls (ITGC), control design and operating effectiveness of ITGCs, and segregation of duty analysis.

**Education: Bachelor's degree in **Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field.**
