About the role
Job Overview:
The Tank Farm Operator will be responsible for the daily operations of the truck and railcar loading and unloading at the facility/plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load/Unloading trucks and railcars
- Sampling tanks, trucks, railcars
- Tank transfers/decants from truck to truck, truck to tank, railcar to truck, etc.
- Operate boiler to steam tanks and railcars
- Use of overflow equipment / devices
- Operate Vapor Combustion Unit
- General plant upkeep to include custodial duties
- Performing all tasks in a safe and cautious manner
- Other tasks as directed by supervisor
Qualifications:
- GED/HS Diploma preferred - Reworld offers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
- Previous experience working on a Tank Farm preferred
- Strong work ethic, available as needed
- Must be fully committed to following PSM, safety procedures, and programs
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing operating conditions
Shift Work:
Monday through Friday with alternating weekend coverage as required
