Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, not-for-profit, community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Suburban Hospital is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area for more than 65 years. The Clinical Technician (PCT) works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with advanced training in specific clinical skills/competencies on the health care team.
- Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
- Provides personal care for patient including hygiene and physical comfort measures
- Performs bedside glucose monitoring, EKG tracing, and phlebotomy
- Inserts IVs
- Measures and records intake and output
- Inserts and removes Foley catheters

**Qualifications**:

- Current Maryland CNA licensure is required.
- American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification is required.
- 2 years' patient care experience preferred.
- Experience with phlebotomy required
- Highschool diploma or GED is required.
