Dock Worker

Bay Boat Works, is seeking a summer Full-Time dock worker. Duties include:
**Fuel Dock** - Perform daily opening and closing job duties. Perform all duties associated with the fuel dock including: Assist customers in tying up boats, pumping fuel, performing pump outs and handling cash/credit card transactions.

**Boat Yard Store** - Assist customers with products and services, store sales, stocking store and fuel dock inventory, handling cash/credit card payments, sander/vac and other equipment rentals, answering phones.

**Cleaning Duties** - Clean and maintain bath house, bathrooms, boat yard store/offices, shops and other areas as assigned. Take out trash/recycling and check dumpsters. Wash, wax & vacuum yard boats, vehicles & equipment.

**Boat Yard Maintenance** - Perform ground clean up and general property maintenance including picking up trash and debris in boat yard, docks, parking and beach areas. Weeding, mowing/weed eating, sweeping store, shops and parking lot areas, painting, and light dock maintenance.

**Other Duties** - Make sure customers are following clean marina policies and boat yard rules and regulations. Follow all safety and compliance regulations. Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:
Able to work weekends and holidays. This is a summer full-time position.

Must be 17 years of age or older.

Able to work outside in heat for extended periods.

Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Able to operate small, hand-held/power tools and operate golf cart.

Willingness to learn.

Exhibit a proactive, professional, honest, trustworthy, and strong work ethic.

A valid driver’s license and own transportation a must.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
