[Working with youth grades 1st-12th]

**Responsibilities**

It is the Academic Support Staff’s responsibility to fill in for absent staff at one of our multiple locations with regards to organizing, supervising, directing and promoting educational, recreational, arts & craft or technological activities.
**Skills**
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage time well
- Feel comfortable in a team environment
- Willing to attain First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Administer First Aid/CPR when necessary. (Training to be the responsibility of the Boys & Girls Club)

**Education**

This position is ideal if you are a recent high school graduate pursuing your degree If you have an interest in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, Tutoring, Caregiving, Higher Education and MORE, this is the RIGHT fit for you.

**Job Duties**
- Implement pre planned program plans.
- Lead activities in an upbeat, enthusiastic manner. Promote fair play, good morals and high self
- esteem for all members
- Assure that the program area is safe and in order. Help maintain and repair program equipment as needed
- Enjoy the outdoors and engage in fitness activities, such as running, kicking and walking for up to 30 minutes
- Attend Club field trips, socials and other special events, as needed
- Reliable transportation and availability
- ALL Team Members must consent to driver training and possess a valid California for a minimum of 12 months, in order to apply

Expected hours: 29 per week
