Job Summary:

We are the only locally owned and operated commercial kitchen cleaning company not working out of the home and are seeking a dedicated Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Technician to join our team. As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for degreasing the exhaust systems of commercial kitchen spaces (restaurants, schools, municipalities) to ensure they meet local and NFPA fire safety standards. Our typical job lasts 3-4 hrs. We typically schedule 2-3 jobs a day, M-F, with Fridays being the lightest day of the workweek. The job offers a combination of customer jobs with some "in the office" time in our warehouse.

**Duties**:

- Our 2-3 man team starts at the rooftop fan and works down into the kitchen, so spending 1/2 an hour to 2 hours a day on a roof is necessary on most jobs.
- Perform cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems and occasionally equipment (ovens, grills, fryers), and floors.
- Follow local and NFPA fire safety codes.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Attend training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and best practices.

- Previous experience in cleaning/commercial kitchen cleaning, roofing, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Willingness to work M-F, including very few evenings if needed.
