The Building Group is a leading property management company, specializing in the management of community associations. The Director of Asset Management position initiates, oversees, and assists in the production of project coordination and strategic planning for Community Managers, Board Members, in addition to scheduling of inspections, and working with client-communities to ensure best practices and vendors are being utilized as these communities engage in large-scale capital projects.

**Primary Responsibilities Include**:

- Working with those client-associations our Company provides service to on all ancillary services, such as capital project oversight, financing, special assessment, capital project vendor coordination, and similar ancillary services;
- Working directly with Board Members on those asset management activities listed herein;
- Coordinating with staff, namely Community Association Managers, on those asset management activities listed herein;
- Attending Board meetings, from time to time, as may be necessary to promote, discuss, and coordinate on those asset management activities listed herein;
- Assist the Company in securing and developing new clients as it relates to The Building Group’s property management services, including bring the Company into new markets; and
- Carrying out any other tasks that may be required or relevant to providing asset management services to the Company’s clients;
**Position Requirements Include**:
The position requires strong communication, organizational, writing and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and the ability work to comfortably with various software programs relevant to community association management. It also requires integrity, punctuality, competency, professionalism, a meticulous attitude towards accuracy and the ability to get things done. Training will be provided to you on the above-mentioned systems.

This position requires you to maintain an active Community Association Managers licensed through the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR). It shall be your sole responsibility to maintain this personal license in accordance with those guidelines established by the State of Illinois.

**Compensation**:
The position provides for a very competitive salary relative to the industry including a meaningful base salary, in addition to bonus and commissions.
