We are seeking a Supply Chain and Operations Analyst to join our small but dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with Kaizen's CEO to build systems and processes that enhance visibility into our supply chain, operations, and marketing efforts. You will develop models and spreadsheets to track these areas, then leverage this data to create actionable recommendations on how we can improve our processes and better serve our customers.

This role requires someone who is resourceful, entrepreneurial, and willing to do whatever it takes. As a small startup with a small team, we are constantly learning and growing every day. _**This is a Contract position, meaning the applicant will be a 1099 independent contractor.**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain detailed models and spreadsheets to track and analyze supply chain costs, operational expenses, and marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Commercial Officer to build systems and processes that enhance visibility and efficiency across the supply chain and operations.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Create actionable recommendations based on data analysis to optimize supply chain and operational processes.
- Assist in product costing, ensuring accurate and up-to-date cost information for all products.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain and operations.
- Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Support marketing efforts by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to support the overall growth and development of the company.
- Continuously seek ways to improve existing processes and systems, leveraging industry best practices and innovative solutions.

**Qualifications**:

- Background in supply chain management, logistics, and supply chain operations
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word are critical), Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of purchasing, root cause analysis, manufacturing, and inventory control
- Familiarity with procurement processes, demand planning, and production planning
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, and Quickbooks a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
