1.Reads and interprets blueprints to maintain dimensions within tolerances of precision machined parts.

2.Able to troubleshoot their machine(s).

3.Reads and interprets Process Sheets to ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with standard processing requirements.

4.Maintains machine specific tools and consumables to ensure effective operation of equipment

5.Ensures high quality of parts by closely monitoring and adjusting operation of machine and/or tooling while regularly inspecting parts for conformance to requirements.

6.Ability to quickly detect and correct minor malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.

7.Performs secondary bench operations as required, which includes but is not limited to inspection, harperization, de-burring, and cleaning of parts.

8.Maintains lot traceability, work orders/travelers, and good housekeeping practices at all times.

9.Quickly raises any machining or quality issues with appropriate supervision or engineering support.

10.Ability to learn and work on a wide variety of part numbers and/or departments.

11.Accurately records daily production and provides detailed handover.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and write CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize machining processes.
- Perform quality checks using measuring instruments such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues to maintain production efficiency.
- Maintain documentation of programs, tooling, and setup sheets.
- Continuously improve programming techniques and processes to enhance productivity.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNC Programmer.
- Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc-Hass controls and programming language.
- Solid understanding of mathematics, including trigonometry and geometry, for accurate calculations.
- Ability to fabricate fixtures and tooling for CNC machines.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for creating or modifying part models.
- Familiarity with milling machines and CAM programming.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
