**JOB GOAL**

To transport school children (all passengers) safely.

**PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To arrive ten minutes before departure on any route you are assigned to drive.
- To sweep your bus daily and to be sure your bus is always clean inside.
- To conscientiously go through your pre-departure check list (State Form and Daily Trip Ticket Form) to ascertain the safety of your equipment.
- To be constantly cognizant of traffic laws.
- To follow the routes as prescribed and adopted by the board of education.
- To abide by all rules and regulations of the school district as they pertain to transporting pupils.
- To report all unsafe conditions to the mechanic immediately upon discovery.
- To adhere to every facet of your basic contract including working four hours each day, two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon.
- To participate in driver training programs offered by the board of education or with its approval.
- To provide no less than one hour notice if you are going to be absent from your job.
- To transport no passengers other than school children or passengers authorized by the board of education.
- To complete all necessary reports required when any accident takes place.
- To follow the prescribed procedure related to possible student injury.
- To report all discipline problems to the appropriate principal in writing.
- To report damage to the vehicle done by pupils to the head bus driver.
- To follow all other directives related to pupil transportation as long as they abide by your contact with the board of education and do not violate school board policy.
- Performs such tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.02 - $36.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
