**Come Join our team at Resource Treatment Center. We are looking for Behavioral Health Tech Supervisors to lead our great team of techs.**

**Resource Treatment Center is the leading facility in Indianapolis treating kids and adolescents with Mental and Behavioral Health disorders. Our facility is an in-patient long term lock facility. We are looking for someone who has both Behavioral health Tech and supervisor experience.**

**We Currently have 1 position available for each shift**:
**1st**:

- 7am-330pm

**2nd** - 3pm-11pm

**3rd** - 11pm
- 7am

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Provide medical or therapeutic care, direct and indirect diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to patients, following the instructions of physicians or other health practitioners.
- Coordinate the work and activities of assigned staff, including setting performance expectations in the day-to-day operations of the unit.
- Provide guidance and direction to staff and encourage/build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.
- Assist patients with their daily living activities and administer basic health care or treatments.
- Participate in therapeutic or recreational group.
- Oversee admitting and discharging.
- Monitor physical and emotional well-being of patients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff. Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
- Observe and influence the behavior of the patients by communicating, interacting with them, teaching and counseling.
- Encourage patients to participate in social, recreational, or other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills or develop social relationships and teach strategies to promote patient wellness and independence.
- Lead or co-lead individual or group sessions as part of specific recreational or therapeutic procedures.
- Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat, rehabilitate and return patients to the community.
- May provide transportation for patients as needed.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.  When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.  Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- _1. A bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of work experience in a child-caring institution_
- _2. Two (2) years college and two (2) years of work experience in a child-caring institution_
- _3. A high school diploma and four (4) years of work experience in a child-caring institution _
- _Must have experience working in a Children's inpatient facility._

**LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS**:

- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
- May require a valid state driver's in facilities where transporting patients is an essential function.

**ADDITIONAL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum 21 years of age. For Resource Treatment Facility a bachelor’s degree in a human service field; Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.

Must have and maintain a valid Indiana driver's license and maintain automobile insurance coverage.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

- In-person
