**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a data solution architect, you can dissect a customer’s real business question and translate that into a tangible cloud data solution. You will work closely with our Managing Consultants and act at a C-level / director level with our customers.

**HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BUSINESS**
- Identify digital trends (data and cloud) in the market and their potential business value.
- Collaborate with customers and their architects to understand their technical data requirements and provide recommendations for optimal solutions.
- Dissect the real customer challenge into understandable words.
- Develop and implement technical solutions that align with client problems and goals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning to implementation and support.
- Examine existing projects bottom up, identify improvements, and automate manual processes, without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Lead by example: inspire our team of technical professionals, including data engineers, data platform engineers, cloud engineers, software engineers and architects.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the technical team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Master’s degree in computer science, AI, electrical engineering or related studies.
- Experience with consultancy (at an enterprise or within another consultancy company.)
- Extensive (hands-on) knowledge of data platforms and data processing, using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and related concepts.
- Experience in digital solutions and data science/AI.
- 3+ years of experience in activities such as pre-sales, post-sales, solution architecting and shaping solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex technological concepts and solutions effectively (simply and clearly) to both management and operational levels.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Strong consultancy skills, including the ability to provide leadership to our teams and clients on best practices and setting business priorities
- 7+ years of experience as a software project leader / software product owner
- 5+ years of experience with building full stack software solutions
- 3+ years of experience with technical consulting sales in an enterprise environment
- Proven track record in building software, either SaaS or on-prem
- Experience with software in a factory automation project
- Familiar with modern technology paradigms - including AI/ML, Cloud, Data, Application Development, and Digital transitions
- Industry experience in hi-tech manufacturing (e.g. Semicon) is a big plus
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering and/or business is a plus

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that Itility reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what Itility anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity, level and budget.
