**Duties**:

- General Military Intelligence (GMI) Analyst and organizational expert for various disciplines including threat analysis and projection of land-warfare forces and operations within the China Division's Global Issues and Partner Nation Branch.
- Conducts research and analysis of counterterrorism and foreign military forces, operations, capabilities, and trends to support all-source intelligence and threat production.
- Serves as a recognized authority within assigned geographical and functional areas of INDOPACOM, analyzes intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of intelligence, threat analysis, forecasting and other analytical methodologies.
- Provides informed advice on techniques and innovative methods employed in threat analysis and projection.
- Stays informed of military, political-military, technical and other developments within assigned areas in order to conduct valid threat assessments.
- Plans, coordinates, and synthesizes research from other analysts to prepare all-source intelligence products and responses.
- Ensures the finished intelligence product is consistent with applicable NGIC and Army intelligence positions and policies.

- Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
