Summary

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction This position is located at the National Ground Intelligence Center, Mission Operations Directorate, Missions Support Division, Charlottesville, VA 22911.



Duties
  • Serves as IT Specialist (Systems Analysis) in the Production Design and Integration Branch (Mission Operations Directorate)
  • Applies analytical process to the planning, design and implementation of new and improved intelligence production information systems to meet the business requirements.
  • Coordinates the planning, development and implementation between the customer and the developers.
  • Identifies, maintains, documents and develops technical specifications, systems and business processes.
  • Develops web based software applications and applications on the ServiceNow platform (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
  • Develops, coordinates, and executes user acceptance testing events and thoroughly tests software to ensure requirements are met.
  • Coordinates software release with stakeholders.
  • Provides application and end user support, identifying and resolving problems, develops reports and identifies new features.
