Quality Co-Op

**Job Description Summary**

We are searching for a Quality Systems Co-op to contribute to our Global Quality Systems group within our Corporate Quality team. This position will be based out of our Three Rivers Facility.

The Quality Systems Co-op will gain a broad understanding of AAM's process, products, procedures, and systems by supporting implementation of new initiatives in Quality Management Systems.
- Learn about AAM Q4 Quality System
- Create and follow standardize work.
- Assist in launch validation by supporting program management & PPAP activities.
- Perform & Track PTR’s
- Tracking on-time activities through 4-square.
- Weekly report out on status of part number or rev changes.
- Update documentation for required change.
- Utilization of Quality Systems - SharePoint, APEX, IQS, IPF
- Interfaces with plant Quality, Engineering and Production Teams.
- Assist with Supplier Quality engineering activities associated with manufacturing FTQ and OEE loss.
- Assist with troubleshooting daily production defects through root cause analysis techniques as they occur.
- Issue PRR’s to suppliers for defects regarding line downtime.
- Capture downtime, driver, and sort cost to supplier issues.
- Implements safety and good housekeeping standards.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.

**Required Skills and Education**
- Pursuing undergraduate degree at an accredited university.
- Major preferred: Engineering.
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
- Job hours: 25 - 40 hours a week.
- Must be interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.
- Graduation of April 2025 or later.
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn other programs used by various AAM departments.
- High level of analytical ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and high attention to detail and accuracy of information is required.
