Technology Specialist I

The Technology Specialist I role is to support the vision, mission, and strategic priorities of ESC Region 12, ensuring the optimal functioning of conference rooms and providing exceptional end-user support. This role is integral to the smooth operation of meetings and events, as well as assisting users with technology-related issues to facilitate their business tasks efficiently.
- Ensure all conference room equipment, including projectors, laptops, tablets, and conference systems, are in working order.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to conference room technology promptly.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and updates on all conference room equipment.
- Assist users with the setup and operation of laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, cell phones, and other devices.
- Manage help desk operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user inquiries and issues.
- Participate in professional development opportunities offered by ESC Region 12 and other organizations.

**Education/Certification**
- High School/Trade School degree, required
- Associate's Degree, preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferred
- At least one Technology Certification, preferred

- Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including projectors, conference room equipment, laptops, tablets, Chromebook, cell phones
- Experience with desktop operating systems and common Office Applications
