**Position**:
We are looking for a kind and compassionate **Medication Aide / Resident Assistant Caregiver** that will strive to increase the quality of life for our elderly residents.

**Extra Special Touch**:
This position requires lots of love and patience with the residents as they struggle with their cognitive and physical needs. You need to have a gentle hand, speak words of kindness, and give lots of hugs. We want someone that will treat our residents as if they were your own family.
- Accurately pass medication in the allotted time frame
- Accurately document the medication passed to each resident
- Promptly answer call lights
- Accurately communicate and document all resident issues and concerns
- Assist residents with ADL's (toileting, bathing, dressing, room tidies, etc)
- Assist residents with transfers
- Monitor vital signs
- Perform basic wound care (as needed)
- Assist residents to and from meals and activities
- Assist with serving beverages and meals
- Assist with clearing and setting dining room tables

**Qualifications**:

- Must communicate well with residents, families, staff, and providers
- Must be able to work well independently AND as a team player
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
- Must have a valid State of WI Driver's License
- Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Must be dependable and able to work your shifts as scheduled
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand on feet for 8 hours

**Shift**: 2pm - 10pm / Rotating Week Schedule / Every Other Weekend

**Wage**: $22 p/hr
