**Job Summary**

Instructor : STEM**: Responsibilities**
- Implement the iKids lesson plans that align with program goals
- Lead and supervise elementary-age children during after-school activities
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children
- May lift 5-30 lbs; anticipate physical demands of a standard classroom and playground setting.

Instructor : STEM**: Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent, required (18 years of age minimum)
- CPR and First Aid certification, iKids will provide as needed
- Clear background/ fingerprinting : Eligible status, required
- Available a minimum of (2) days a week
- Exposure to STEM activities like chess, "Lego"-based robotics, coding, experiements, and strategy games
- Experience working with children in a classroom, after-school, or camp setting
- Knowledge of child development; age-appropriate activities; behavior management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Independent, reliable transportation / support multiple campuses weekly
