**JOB PURPOSE**:
**Essential Functions**:

- Responsible and accountable for Plant Quality Inspections
- Drives focus on process control as a core element of our quality strategy
- Walk the floor providing leadership and coaching
- Ensure QA compliance to standards of Quality at all times
- Floor Time - 75% or greater
- Works with the Plant Manager, Production Manager, Supervisors and leads to execute the plant goals.
- Holds people accountable to the system, processes and results.
- Performance management and developing others.
- Visible leadership and personal communication
- Quality systems and process improvement across ES Kluft
- Interface Production Manager, Supervisors and leads relative to quality issues.
- Plan, execute and participate in Product and Process audits.
- Accountable to maintain the Quality System in SAP, Returns and other analysis.
- Advocate for quality through process/system control
- Leads effort to be QA Inspections -ready daily
- Internal & regulatory requirements
- Initiates and Leads SPC, Customer feedback and DFM processes,
- Responsible for Daily defect analysis and Monthly Communication Quality Deck information
- Educates, communicates and drives increased visibility for leading and lagging Plant metrics
- Builds group competency through coaching and training of the Plant Quality team.
- Leads and drive towards systems and strategies that enhance process predictability and output performance.
- Utilize LEAN Six Sigma practices to implement and improve plant quality standards and processes
- Identification of the cause of quality issues and improvement activities. (Share and improve quality issues with production team.)
- Initiate, Monitor and Participate in corrective action.
- Write and manage work instructions for quality inspection by process.
- Prepare and respond to customer audits.
- Perform a daily mattress inspection audit and share the results with the relevant department.
- Manage and update production samples FA and other assigned samples.
- Monitor and Classify defects and prepare a report accordingly.
- Write and manage work instructions for incoming inspection. Make sure incoming inspection and Process defects are counted, managed, and reported.
- Continuous training and feedback on inspection and measurement methods.
- Verification and testing of new SKUs.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Responsible for staffing, training, and employee relations.

**Job Requirements.**
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, or related discipline.
- 4+ years of Process Engineering, Quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus
- Ability to understand Urethane and Foam or similar process.
- Ability to understand Foam & Mattress test standard (CFR 1633, ASTM D3574)
- Knowledge in ERP (SAP) helpful.
- Strong foundation of analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated experience with all MS Office products; with proficiency in Excel to extract and analyze data.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including great communication with employees.

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
