Job Overview

Digital Texture Print Specialist's main function is to be the primary software and hardware technical expert on all printing technology implemented at LW Mountain. As the primary technical expert for the company, the role is responsible for all hardware-related aspects, including troubleshooting, installation, and training. The role is also responsible for acting as the primary point-of-contact for hardware technical information with the product manufacturers and brokers on existing and new technologies.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

The primary responsibilities and duties of the Digital Texture Print Specialist include, but are not limited to:

- Operate and maintain all software and hardware currently implemented at LW Mountain.

These include but are not limited to:

- Roland UV Ink printers
- Metis scanning systems
- Qres digital printing and material-handling systems
- CGS ORIS color management software
- Other technology added to the Company portfolio in the future
- Collaborate with our sales and marketing organization to provide support on new digital print product offerings being promoted to existing and new clientele
- Produce samples and manufactured flooring products for customers
- Perform chargeable print-for-pay and scan-for-pay services for customers
- Produce and maintain necessary L.W. Mountain standard operating procedure documentation for integrated technologies.
- Cross-train additional members of the Digital Print department on equipment and software
- Maintain Roland, Metis and Qres hardware
- Test, document, and report functionality of new hardware implemented.

Additional Responsibilities and Duties

As part of the Prepress department, the Digital Texture Print Specialist works in collaboration with the rest of the employees in the department to execute additional responsibilities and duties including, but not limited to:

- Prepare color matched proofs and manufactured products for customers.
- Assist Company marketing in the production of product sample kits and other marketing materials.
- Maintain and further develop procedures for the Company, including regular proofer calibrations, consumables inventory management, and software structure management.

**Qualifications**:
The Digital Texture Print Specialist role has the following qualifications:

- Five or more years of experience in Technical Support, Graphic Arts, Digital Print (UV Ink), or related fields.
- A bachelor’s degree in a graphic arts or related discipline.
- Focused experience with mechanical and electrical systems, preferably on inkjet printing equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
- High level understanding of computing, graphic arts concepts, and color management.
- Highly self-motivated, reliable, and strong attention to detail.
- Top quality customer service attitude

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
