You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance, budget and timeline development, build quality, testing and operational readiness, and the completed project’s readiness to go live.

**How you will contribute**

You will:

- Lead a Project Management Team
- Drive consistency and quality in the execution of projects using the appropriate methodology and tools
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks and escalate them to leadership and/ or the program manager when needed
- Provide project reporting and status updates using scorecards, status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetings
- Lead budget management, resource planning and utilization
- Confirm the completion and consistency of projects and their readiness to go live
- Responsible for the innovation to market projects and governance

**What you need to know about this position**:

- This is a hybrid role based in East Hanover, NJ

**Job specific requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience is required; experience leading a team is strongly desired.
- Demonstrated success in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry with a focus on new product development and successful product launches is highly desirable. Prior experience within the food industry is not required, but preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse portfolio of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each project meets its objectives within defined timelines.
- Strong aptitude for fostering collaborative relationships across various functions including Marketing, Research and Development (R&D), and Manufacturing, Quality & Procurement. Experience in leveraging cross-functional teams to drive innovation and project success is essential. Strong relationship building and cross functional collaboration is critical for success.
- Direct experience working in or working closely with manufacturing facilities is required. Experience collaborating closely with both manufacturing and R&D teams to align project goals and capabilities is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas, negotiate priorities, and build consensus across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive decision-making processes to achieve project objectives.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, managing through ambiguity, scope changes, and unexpected challenges. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and situational changes.

**Education / Certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
- Certifications relevant to project management or the food industry are advantageous, but not required.
