**Who We’re Looking For**
**_ Position Description:_** Banking Coordinator
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Open and close bank accounts
- Update/send bank letters for transitioning accounts
- Setup new bank accounts in accounting system
- Update signature cards (bank/payable platform/accounting system) for new board members
- Maintain current copies of signature cards/electronic templates
- Develop relationship with banks and update contact lists
- Act as authorized corporate officer for master signature card
- Retrieve monthly bank rates and provide to Property Accountants and Managers
- Update associations links per user for bank site
- Request bank user ID and Logins for new accounting staff, managers, and/or board members
- Retrieve monthly bank statements electronically
- Respond to Dormant Account notices
- Handle escheatment process of unclaimed funds
- Provide backup support to Compliance Coordinator
- Process Investment requests
- Create standard procedures for Banking tasks
- Meet all set deadlines and expectations
- Collaborate and consult with 3rd party vendors to resolve accounting related issues
- Provide daily support to the Community Management and Accounting team
- Maintain electronic filing system for assigned communities
- Complete special projects & tasks as assigned
**Required Qualifications**:
- Background in Banking or Accounting: 1+ year(s) (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Docusign
- Experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Experience with data entry software?
- History of performing under deadlines and pressure with accuracy
- Background in exceptional customer service
- Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills.
- History of multi-tasking with attention to detail
- Proven self-starter who can manage time effectively
- Desire to assist all clients (internal and external) in a professional and friendly manner
- Basic knowledge of HOA industry (preferred but not required)
**Requirements**:
Detailed oriented, multi tasker, fast paced
Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and DocuSign required.
Experience in Banking preferred.
