**Job purpose**

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse employees and managing the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, maintaining inventory accuracy, and leading the warehouse team to achieve operational objectives.

**Duties and responsibilities**

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

**Warehouse**
- Manage the site's warehouse and packaging staff on designated shifts to achieve operational objectives.
- Approve and review timesheets as directed by the supervisor.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Collect merchandise and safely transport materials to the bay.
- Receive and document merchandise for delivery or return.
- Maintain an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Identify any missing, lost, or damaged items and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensure that all items are safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Manage all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Verify labels to ensure products are shipped to the correct destination.
- Plan, organize, and direct activities within the warehouse to maintain inventory levels.
- Communicate with other departments or managers to ensure that orders and supplies are fulfilled according to production schedules.
- Request new inventory items from purchasing when stock is low.
- Ensure all warehouse equipment works properly, and safety procedures are followed.
- Perform physical labor such as lifting boxes, moving inventory to storage areas, or cleaning workspaces.
- Oversee the flow of inventory through the warehouse by ensuring it is accurately stored and cataloged.
- Prepare, review, and process legible and accurate forms and records.
- Maintain front building area/warehouse sanitization and organization.
- Back up other warehouse leads in their absence.

**Documentation**
- Uses software systems to manage inventory and transfer orders.
- Ensures any defective products are reported and properly processed for disposal.
- Updates processes and procedures to meet production quality standards.

**Leadership**
- Opens and/or closes the facility as required.
- Use effective communication and teamwork skills to build relationships with team members.
- Ensure a strong culture in safety and GMP compliance.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Supervisory or management experience desired.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow verbal as well as written instructions.
- Strong regard for quality assurance, meeting company standards.
- Good knowledge about industry products and processes.
- Basic mathematical arithmetic skills.
- Knowledge of laws, codes, rules, policies, and regulations relating to warehouse operations.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively, providing effective leadership and team building with others.
- Ability to multitask, organize work, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Must be meticulous, initiative-taking, able to work independently, and possess excellent time management.
- Always follow quality and safety requirements.
- Ability to use both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions.
- Ability to read and write in the English language.

**Working conditions**

The Warehouse is an indoor environment that does not have heat or air conditioning. The Operations Warehouse Lead may occasionally work outdoors. Often wear safety attire when in a warehouse, such as personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels. Required to wear PPE when entering laboratory and manufacturing room locations. The position may be required to travel between True Diagnostics buildings locally.

**Physical requirements**
- Work may be performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
- Communicate effectively using speech vision and hearing. The use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Required bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.

Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust and fumes.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
