Provides assistance and crew leadership inside and outside, picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, and clearing snow covered paths; cleaning and stocking bathrooms; making sure buildings are secure.

**This position is located at Snow Summit in Big Bear Lake**

Starting wage between $20.75/hr. - $25.54/hr. depending on experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- At least one year of experience in housekeeping services
- Have a valid California driver's license with ability to operate equipment as trained
- Talented communicator who demonstrates respect through service inside and outside the department
- Able to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as record data accurately and in a timely fashion
- Able to work flexible schedules, including second and third shifts, as well as weekends and holidays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Follow all Company and Department Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to follow verbal and written instructions; as well as further develop professional skills, abilities.
- Exhibit willingness to perform other duties as assigned or assist in efforts outside of department as needed.
- Read work orders and complete tasks as assigned in an efficient and timely manner.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
- Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, and/or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers.
- Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, conferences, and events.
- Wash walls and equipment; use ladders when required in work assignments.
- Checking and securing unlocked doors and windows when facilities are not in use and turning off lights.
- Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools.
- Wash accessible interior and exterior windows, and clean blinds.
- Clean grounds and remove litter and trash.
- Shovel snow from walks, stairways, and driveways using hand-operated tools.
- Spread cinders/salt/ice melt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup.
- Water trees, flowers and shrubs, and water down area as needed.

Mental strain and fatigue may occasionally be caused by trying to resolve guest issues, meeting deadlines, and balancing the wants and needs of the departmental staff
