**Full description**
We are looking for a Full or Part-time Customer Service Representative / Account Manager /
Relationship Manager, for a full-service Insurance Agency in Cooperstown, New York. The individual we are seeking exhibits exceptional people skills but also has the ability to work independently on data entry projects where attention to detail is critical. Insurance experience is preferred but not mandatory
- **Essential job duties**
- Answer general insurance questions from customers
- Gather information from customers and take that information and enter it into multiple company websites to provide competitive quotes.
- Process policy changes and requests for insurance certificates.
- Data-entry into the Agency Management System.
- Ability to compare insurance policies for coverages, and offer additional coverages to customers.

**Requirements**:
**Knowledge, skills and abilities**
- Knowledge of insurance preferred, but not required.
- General Computer Knowledge and Efficiency is Required
- Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word preferred
- Ability to learn many different insurance company interfaces and work efficiently within them
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.

**Required education/experience/licensure**
- Experience in customer service. Insurance experience preferred.
- High School diploma required; college experience/degree preferred
- New York insurance license preferred, but not required.
- Will be required to obtain licensure upon starting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
