This is a Hybrid role.

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and managing process improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of Eversource resources. In addition, you will analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements, while collecting and analyzing process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced costs. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with internal resources to assess critical business processes, tools, and resources to identify and prioritize process improvement.

**Essential Functions**:

- Works collaboratively with teams to identify and implement enhancements to existing policies, procedures, instructions, systems, etc. that improve operational discipline.
- Analyzes and identifies current process gaps using observations, data collection, data analysis, process ideologies and communication with management and frontline staff.
- Measures the effectiveness of current state of processes, systems, etc. as well as benefits gained through implemented enhancements.
- Leads cross functional teams on complex process improvement engagements.
- Identities issues, root causes, strategies for improvement and development of implementation and sustainment plans.
- Develops a summary of findings, recommendations, and action plans for management to review and approve.
- Effectively applies various continuous improvement tools and operating discipline to drive assigned initiatives to positive outcomes.
- Effectively manages assigned process improvement initiatives; scope, resources, schedules, implementation and measurables.
- Develops tools and leverages technology to share relevant information with all stakeholders so business units can learn from process defects, reduce likelihood of future reoccurrence, and improve the mindset of personnel involved in the process.

**Technical**:

- Analyzes the needs of an organization and collaborates with key process stakeholders to recommend and implement effective tools and technology in support of innovation and process improvements.
- Identifies manual processes that can be automated and the works with the stakeholders to select the appropriate toolset.
- Correlates data to find actionable results.
- Develops tools and leverages technology to share relevant information with all stakeholders so business units can learn from process defects, reduce likelihood of future reoccurrence, and improve the mindset of personnel involved in the process.

**Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications**:

- Technical Knowledge/Skill:_
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- Expertise and working knowledge of process improvement methods, internal controls implementation, change management leadership, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented; ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn about and integrate new process and technologies while, when applicable, breaking old paradigms and barriers.
- Strong facilitation, and communication skills (including written, oral, and public speaking) required.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels of authority.
- Demonstrated aptitude and curiosity for learning and implementing new tools and technology.
- Ability to create, manage, and maintain Microsoft Access Databases, Microsoft Excel databases and associated user interfaces (visual basic, SQL or similar programming ability) is highly desired.
- Working knowledge of IT Change Management processes.
- Education:_ A Bachelors’ degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:_ _A minimum of eight (8) years of related experience is required.
- Licenses & Certifications:_
- Hold a valid motor vehicle license.
- Continuous Improvement certification (Six Sigma, LEAN or similar), highly desired.

**Compensation and Benefits**:
Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $115,000 to $127,000, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.

**Working Conditions**:

- Available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
