**Field Service Tech - Health and Fitness (Metro Atlanta)**

We are an Atlanta based company seeking a Field Service Technician for the Health and Fitness Industry. Our company has experienced growth and success over our 25 year history due to our total commitment to improvement strategies anchored by an advanced equipment management system.

We are looking for someone who shares our vision, has a high mechanical aptitude, and a fundamental knowledge of electronics. We need an individual who is logical in their troubleshooting and well spoken. Someone who desires a career path and is willing to pursue it. We are willing to train the right individual, but you must be willing to learn and grow. Applicants must have a record of a strong work ethic. **Experience with the following will help determine your starting compensation**:
**Repair work, installations, maintenance, general assembly, electronics work, automotive repair, HVAC service, do-it-yourself repair and service.**

**Basic Job Description**:
The Field Service Tech will repair, install and perform routine maintenance on all types of fitness equipment. This includes:

- Setup and configuration of cardiovascular, and strength equipment
- Testing machinery, equipment, components and parts for defects and proper function
- Disassemble and reassemble various types of electro-mechanical units
- Record thorough notes to accurately document problems with client equipment and resolution
- Interaction with clients to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical problems as well as communicate findings, resolution, and next steps

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in installation, assembly, mechanical maintenance and repair work using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Must be able to follow company policy and Procedures.
- Be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 50lbs
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Must have basic computers skills
- Present a neat and clean cut appearance at all times
- A valid Georgia driver's license and a reasonable driving record
- Possess a high School Diploma or GED
- Must be willing to take a basic mechanical aptitude test
- Applicant must be willing to take a drug test and submit information for background check

- Think outside of the box and look beyond the obvious
- Exercise good judgment
- Properly balance the customers’ best interest with ours

- Desire to learn, improve, and excel
- Must be able to navigate a smart phone or tablet and internet efficiently

**Compensation: 40-55K annually ( depending on experience)**
