Delta Engineering is a company headquartered in Belgium with branches in the US and Romania. We are market leaders in developing and building downstream equipment for automation in the plastic bottle blow molding industry.

The US branch serves the US and Canadian market and for this purpose we are looking for a motivated technician to help grow the company in the US. He will work in a small team to create custom solutions for customer specific needs. The job will be customer oriented and project driven, thus demanding both flexibility and communication skills.

Major tasks and responsibilities
  • At our facility in Norcross
    1. Prepare machines for factory acceptance at Delta Engineering
    2. Prepare machines for shipping
    3. Assembly and set up of automation lines
    4. Test running machines
    5. Remote support on machines in the field
    6. Provide phone/e-mail support to customers all over the US
    7. Provide feedback to the R&D department
    8. Composing support manuals and step-by-step procedures
  • On site at customers
    1. Onsite support
    2. Installation of equipment
    3. Providing Machine Training for customers
    4. Maintenance on machines in the field

Qualifications and profile
  • Good knowledge and understanding of automation and electrical engineering
  • Good software skills (MS Office,…); experience with Autocad is an advantage
  • Willing to go hands on when it comes to technology
  • Willing to learn and improve skills and knowledge
  • “Can do” mentality
  • Must have good analytical skills to be able to solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willing to travel maximum 50%(must be able to obtain a passport)
  • Able to work in an international environment
  • Capable of working without sponsorship
  • Possibility to travel internationally
