Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

**Duties**:

- Assist individuals with community support, educational goals, and daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals receiving care
- Support individuals with employment, social skills, volunteering

**Requirements**:

- Experience in assisting individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of local activities, events, and virtual events.
- Familiarity with IDEA laws for individuals with disabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Compassionate and client-centered
- Valid driver's license and insurance for transportation needs

Pay: $18.74 - $19.51 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
