**Job Title**: Demand Planning/Scheduling Supervisor

**Department**: Administration

**Reports To**: Operations Manager

**Summary**:
The Demand Planning/Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating the planning and scheduling possesses for the company. Facilitates, communicates, and supports Sales, Production, customer requirements, and Accounting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures the demand planning/scheduling team understands the scheduling planning based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and adherence to the preliminary planning, importance of raw products from different growers and suppliers to meet daily production/sales needs.
- Works with management, inventory, supply chain and sales teams to identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
- Develops demand plans based on business trends and demand patterns.
- Analyses and troubleshoots demand related issues in a timely and accurately manner.
- Assists in developing annual budgets and cost effective initiatives.
- Follows and enforces company rules and regulations.
- Presents major issues in department management meetings.
- Develops routine and demand related reports for management.
- Maintains demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy.
- Works with team to plan, coordinate and execute demand planning activities.
- Updates systems/planning tools to show new products and season products.
- Coordinates with inventory team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Reviews historical sales trends, researches demand drivers, prepares forecast data, develops statistical forecast models, and evaluates forecasts results.
- Develops and maintains the accuracy of planning parameters; Master Production Schedules, standards (line staffing and throughput, packaging equipment speeds, PPAH or UPM), yields, etc.
- Develops daily production plans to ensure that finished goods are available for the warehouse to meet customer orders within the proper timeframes.
- Updates existing scheduling tools to develop daily production schedules based on sales forecast and actual orders.
- Recommends system modifications to enhance planning effectiveness.
- Develops demand planning process methodology resulting in customer service excellence and Supply Chain cost optimization.
- Creates and maintains a rolling unit forecast at the SKU level and drives the forecast process for Fresh Prep.
- Leads developments and execution of communication and performance enhancements to demand planning processes and systems.
- Other duties may be assigned.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must have a Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or equivalent related experience
- Production/Manufacturing supervision and/or purchasing/inventory management experience
- Ability to use forecasting systems to develop strategic and tactical solutions
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP (xTuple)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize and completer multiple projects
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- People oriented and results driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Flexible work schedule (weekdays and weekends, days and evenings)

- Report all safety and health concerns, unsafe practices and hazardous conditions to immediate supervisor.
- Comply with all GMP’s and Food Safety Programs by adhering to guidelines established by the company.
- Support Foreign Object Prevention Program by reporting foreign object incidents to quality staff.
- Report any food safety/quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate corrective actions.

Support Company’s Food Security Programs by reporting any suspicious activity to supervisor in order to avoid intentional microbiological, chemical or physical contamination.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
