In this exciting role, the **OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Buyer & Planner** will be responsible for all aspects of managing the relationship with OEM suppliers. The primary focus will be participating in all new product introductions (NPI) and day to day supplier management.

This position will serve Raypak in Oxnard CA.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

* Negotiate Supplier Pricing, Terms and Contracts.

* Manage New Product Introductions (NPI).

* Manage demand, forecasting, ordering and inbound logistics

* Determine lowest total landed costs

* Managing freight forwarder inbound shipments to both Raypak and drop shipments direct to customers

* Responsible for collaborating on inventory policy and stocking levels for OEM finished goods per service level targets and seasonality across distribution channels.

* Manage supplier payments

* Work with Customer Service team to provide information on shipments for direct shipments to customers

* Identify process gaps and implement best practices

* Update, develop and document work instructions for position

* Support automation of processes

* Able to travel

* Able to work evenings for conference calls with Asia

* Support the S&OP lead in NPI Launch Planning

**Qualifications**

**WHAT YOU NEED**

* Bachelors Degree.

* Demonstrates expertise in managing & planning inventory at distribution centers

* Demonstrates expertise in PC based applications including all Microsoft products.

* Strong understanding of Sales and Operations Planning and Sales Enablement processes.

* Demonstrates experience working with suppliers in Asia

* Demonstrates Cross Functional Capabilities

* Customer Focused

* 5 years + of experience in procurement and planning

**HOW TO STAND OUT**

* Experience with QAD

* Experience with Oracle

* Fluent in Mandarin

* Experience with CRM software

* MBA

* APICS or Supply Chain certification is plus
