Each year HEAR Wisconsin provides critical services to thousands of individuals through its newly renovated Audiology Clinic, Mobile Audiology Clinic, Early Intervention Services, and Assistive Technology Center.

HEAR Wisconsin has an immediate, full-time position available for an **Audiology Care Coordinator** at its West Allis Speech and Hearing Center.

**Position Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced, self-directed, and highly motivated Audiology Care Coordinator to join our team HEAR Wisconsin values creative problem solving in a team environment and the flexibility to professionally manage change within the organization.

**Responsibilities**:_**:_
- Greets audiology patients and answers phone calls.
- Schedules appointments for patient consultations, audiology evaluations, hearing aid repairs, etc.
- Coordinates the daily administration of four audiologists, visitors, and patients in a thriving clinic.
- Schedules patient appointments and coordinates required documentation is obtained before a scheduled visit.
- Obtains insurance information and verifies patient demographic information prior to scheduling appointments.
- Answers patient inquiries.
- Resolves scheduling conflicts as they arise.
- Scans and electronically files patient documents.
- Collects co-pays and balances due to the organization.
- Ensures waiting room is presentable.
- Maintains quality results by following standards.
- Protects HEAR Wisconsin and its clients by keeping collection information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum three years administration/receptionist experience preferably in an Audiology practice.
- Associate degree in health care or related field preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone and in writing with patients as well as all staff members.
- The ability to take initiative, problem solve and work autonomously.
- Has effective time management skills and exemplary organizational skills.
- Has ability to analyze information and make recommendations for improving process/procedures.
- Excellent computers skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
- Performs as a team player.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
