Front Desk Agent

**About Us**

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lansing West welcomes the smart traveler to our spacious suites that give them just a little more. Guests can enjoy our complimentary hot breakfast, indoor pool, and complimentary Wifi. The hotel also features over 1,000 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate up to 80 people.

We are looking for front desk agents that are able to work both the 7am-3pm shift as well as the 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am shift as needed.

**Responsibilities**
- Answer telephones, transferring phone calls to appropriate parties.
- Make reservations, ensuring to collect accurate information, and confirming details with the guest before ending the call.
- Check guests into the hotel, taking care to confirm room type, number of nights, and any special requests. Collect payment as well as issue room keys.
- Answer questions about the hotel or area, offering recommendations for places to eat and entertainment.
- Address any concerns that guests may have, resolving the matter before the guest leaves, and following up to make sure all concerns were properly addressed.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
