Karat Packaging (Nasdaq symbol ‘KRT’) by Lollicup USA, Inc, headquartered in Chino, CA is the manufacturer of Karat® food disposable goods and TeaZone® beverage products, the distributor of other leading brands' coffee & tea ingredients, & specializes in custom print and innovative packaging. We have been recognized for our thermoforming plastic capabilities in North America to produce cups and food packaging products that allow us to offer competitive pricing throughout our distribution network (currently 6 regional warehouses are located in CA, SC, WA, TX, HI and NJ), and services to chain accounts such as Panda Express, Flame Broiler, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and more.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Purchasing Assistant who will perform a variety of routine purchasing support data entry functions requiring basic knowledge of purchasing/procurement and ERP systems.

**Purchasing Duties**:

- Verify items and quantities on purchase orders and transfer orders and receive/bill
- Generate purchase orders
- Submit purchase orders correctly and effectively
- Ability to quickly place orders with our vendors
- Assist with invoicing Purchase Orders
- Coordinate and create warehouse-to-warehouse transfers
- Adjust inventory
- Resolve inventory discrepancies

**Accounting Duties**:

- Process vendor invoices
- Match purchase orders with invoices
- Research and correct invoice discrepancies when needed
- Process credits
- Assist with related special projects, reports as required

Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, other purchasing/accounting-related assignments/tasks

**Qualifications**
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Accuracy is a must
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to details and highly organized
- Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
- General office environment requiring ability to sit and be in front of a computer screen for an extended period of time

**Requirements**:
Must have AA degree (BA/BS degree a plus)

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
