**Type**: Full-Time

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
- Facilitates offboarding of employees and related processes.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Communicates with HR Manager daily; provides updates of tasks in progress and any other relevant HR information.
- Assists with facilities contractors as a backup.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Regular and predictable attendance.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, with a minimum of two years of human resource management experience required.
- SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification a plus.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Work environment: Temperature controlled. Noise levels are mostly moderate. May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
