**Role**:
Sales & Service Expert builds and manages their own pipeline of engaged leads from month to month. This comes from the form of walk-in, telephone, or web lead opportunities. SSE's understand that they are more than “Sales”, they are the first impression a prospect will get of the company and thus they must be professional, an effective communicator, and excellent at building rapport. They are also motivated by helping our members achieve the highest levels of success. SSE's understand that the sales process itself is a choreographed experience that should have the customer begging to buy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Delivering a genuine, authentic and engaging guest experience tailored to their unique needs and interests while providing best-in-class customer service. You will execute the CARE sales model with each guest and share how 24 Hour Fitness' products/services can meet their fitness needs. You'll get to tour potential members through the club and showcase the facility, equipment, services and amenities that directly tie back to their individual fitness needs and goals.
- Contacting potential members by phone to invite them into our club so we can help them get started on their fitness journey. You'll manage and follow up on leads by using our Lead Management System, and utilize a daily planner to track and plan successful lead management and selling activities.
- Generating leads/new business internally through member promotions, referrals, the distribution of guest passes, and contacting leads generated via phone. You'll also be responsible for effectively setting appointments for leads.
- Document all interactions with all leads in the “notes” section of CRM.
- Collaborate with the team to formulate ideas on how to best serve our members and guests.
- Be mindful of any emerging patterns of negative feedback from members and report to the Sales & Service Manager
- Collaborate with team to ensure smooth transitions from program to program and beyond
- Service the front end desk and sales pit at all times.
- Solve member inquiries related to app issues, membership questions, facility questions.
**Results**:
- All leads are properly moved in CRM and information is documented on lead's details so our sales team has proper expectations by the end of the day.
- A day one close rate of 75% of guest traffic and 5% fitness attachment is maintained.
- All qualified leads are consistently followed up with indefinitely.
- Sales stats sheet is updated every Sunday.
- There is an effective line of communication among the team in which all necessary information is communicated promptly.
- SSE remains well-versed in the latest product and service offerings through continued education/training.
- All internal communication cycles are properly followed.
**Requirements**:
- High-volume transactional sales experience (gym memberships, event tickets, etc.)
- Excellent communicator over the phone / in person
- Experience with business to consumer (B2C)
- Must be great at providing excellent customer service
- Open to learning new processes in sales
- Are routine driven
- Open to growing rapidly
- Self-sufficient and able to properly manage one’s own time
- Well-organized and able to maintain a pipeline that can be observed and understood by the Sales & Service Manager
- Minimum travel may be required for training purpose and lead generation.
**Compensation Summary**
- $17.15 - $19.06 per hour
- 10% commission on personal training sales
- Quarterly bonuses based on individual and team performance
- Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education
