ECLI-VIBES, a dynamic organization committed to empowering individuals and addressing trauma, is seeking a dedicated Anti-Human Trafficking Counselor to contribute to expanding our services. This role involves providing counseling in-office, working in the field, and responding to the Suffolk County Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative (SCATI) Task Force, ensuring Suffolk County effectively responds to survivor needs.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Counselor will play a pivotal role in the development and expansion of our GROW Groups, tailored for survivors of human trafficking; they will provide individual counseling services both in the field and in the office. The counselor will collaborate with SCATI task force stakeholders and law enforcement partners to ensure that survivors feel safe and supported; the counselor will work closely with anti-human trafficking advocates to ensure that the survivor's needs are met holistically.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and Facilitate GROW Groups:

- Tailor trauma-informed GROW Groups for survivors of human trafficking.
- Ensure accessibility for individuals not yet ready for in-person sessions.

2. Provide Individual Counseling Services:

- Offer one-on-one counseling to survivors of human trafficking.
- Conduct crisis and short-term counseling sessions in the office and the field, utilizing a hybrid model.

3. Collaborate with Law Enforcement:

- Respond to anti-human trafficking law enforcement partners promptly.
- Ensure survivors' safety and support are coordinated with law enforcement efforts.
- Facilitate avenues for survivors to pursue justice against perpetrators, respecting survivors' choices.

4. Work with Anti-Human Trafficking Advocates:

- Collaborate closely with anti-human trafficking advocates.
- Holistically address the survivor's needs.
- Ensure comprehensive support beyond counseling, incorporating advocacy elements.

5. Provide direct support to survivors of human trafficking:

- Provide information on victim’s rights and connect survivors to resources.
- Provide support within the criminal justice systems, including the local jails.
- Provide advocacy for employment, housing, education, public benefits, and transportation.

**Qualifications**:
1. Education and Experience:

- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field preferred or
- Bachelor’s degree with proven 2 + years experience in providing counseling services to survivors of trauma or human trafficking.

- Experience in crisis management and emergency response services.

4. Bilingual Skills:

- Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

5. Collaboration and Advocacy:

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with law enforcement and anti-human trafficking advocates.
- Passion for holistic support and advocacy for survivors.

6. Flexibility and Adaptability:

- Ability to conduct counseling both in the office and in the field.
- Adaptability to respond to the dynamic needs of survivors and law enforcement partners.

7. Passion for Social Justice:

- Commitment to social justice, advocacy, and positively impacting the community.
