Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Schedule appointments for patients using the medical scheduling software
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays or payments from patients
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide general office support including ordering supplies, organizing files, and managing the front desk area
and other duties of front desk
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental receptionist role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR software is a plus
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

Pay: $19.77 - $23.81 per hour
