Surgery Center Director

We are seeking an experienced Surgery Center Administrator to join our team at United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the operating functions, processes, and staff of the facility.
Responsibilities- Facility Operations: Oversee the daily operation of the facility, ensuring efficient provision of surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
- Liaison and Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and all departments of the facility, promoting positive relationships and effective communication.
- Reporting and Compliance: Report pertinent activities concerning the facility to the Governing Board at regular intervals, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.
- Staff Management: Manage exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring sound principles of practice and fairness, and reviewing employee performance as evaluated by their respective managers.
- Clinical Services: Ensure that surgical programs and clinical services are in compliance with regulatory body and accrediting body standards, working in conjunction with the Medical Director and Medical Executive Committee.
- Quality Improvement: Develop, evaluate, and promote implementation of a continuous quality improvement program, identifying and correcting quality care issues.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with nursing or Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum three years of experience in a top administrative or management position in the healthcare field.
- Skills: Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, and ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
The Surgery Center Administrator will work in an office environment, with frequent exposures to patient care areas, and must be able to move about the facility to supervise employees and activities.
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
