**Our Shelter Support Staff will be joining our amazing Shelter Support team led by our experienced Shelter Supervisors and Managers.**

Our Shelter Support Staff are vital to the operation of our homeless shelters, by:

- Monitoring shelter safety and well-being of the guests while on shift
- Performing administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, greeting guests and visitors, and responding to emergency situations quickly and appropriately
- Always maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Ensuring the rules of the facility are being followed
- Complete guest intakes on any new guests entering the shelter during shift coverage
- Assessing any crisis and determining guest needs
- Offering guests appropriate information and respond to their questions
- Provide guests with personal hygiene products, emergency clothing as requested
- Record shift activities and guest information in the shelter log
- Report maintenance requests for repairs to the Supervisor as the need arises
- Communicate with the Supervisor to ensure the needs of the guests are met daily
- Communicating with residents and guests
- Collaborating with a full team of professionals such as Case Managers
