Job Description

The architectural designer will support our architectural design and deliverables.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Coordinates design with rainscreen subcontractors
- Performs the panelization, design, and detailing of our X-Series exterior wall panel product line
- Produces and coordinates team deliverables including shops drawings, fabrication details, and façade model coordination
- Produces finished panel shop drawings and details for fabrication
- Coordinates standard details for each of our exterior wall panel finish types
- Coordinates with and supports other teams within Digital Building from sales through installation
- Supports architectural scope for prototypes and project mockups
- Supports architectural team efficiencies and continuous improvement

Education and Experience:

- 2+ years as an architectural designer
- Has experience designing & detailing with EIFS, rainscreen, and/or curtain wall systems
- Has a passion for efficiencies, cost savings, and continuous improvement
- Prefabrication and/or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required

Software Experience:

- Revit
- Bluebeam
- BIM360/ACC
- Smartsheet
- Box
- Excel
- Dynamo is a bonus

Physical Requirements:

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
