The Role

We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to contribute to our diverse and innovative Industrial Design practice in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will enhance our practice's leadership team, helping it grow and expand its presence and portfolio through intentional project pursuits and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality projects from design concept to completion, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Conduct analysis of various data sets, develop and document design and urban planning concepts, and create project presentations.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary design team to coordinate project efforts.
  • Assist with project management and serve as a key client liaison, providing technical assistance on planning, regulatory, and urban design topics.
  • Represent LJC in the community and at civic events, applying planning knowledge and practice.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating competence with AutoCAD/Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS, and 3D modeling tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to graphically explain ideas.
  • Competent presentation skills and a consistent understanding of design thinking.
